There are a number of ways to find others, but let’s start with the most obvious way. Log into your account and you will see a search box at the top, on the green bar (right hand side). By default it is in user search mode. If you would like to search for offers or wants you can select these options from the drop-down list.

Enter the user’s name (first name or surname or full name, or even part of a name), account number, email address or phone number. One of these should find who you are looking for. If records are found matching your search text, the user you are looking for will be listed in the results.

There are a number of other ways to find users, most of them accessible from the [Users] button on the navigation bar at the top. Hover over that button and then select the User Search option from the drop-down list. It is pretty obvious how to use the search facilities on that page.

If you want to find a user in another exchange, but on the same server as CTTE, enter the name or account number in the Find User textbox at the bottom (under the Global Search sub-heading).

If the user is in Australia, first select the Australian server from the Server drop-down list. Then enter the name or account number and click the [Search] button.

A number of other ways of finding users are to be found on the Users page. This is also accessed from the Users drop-down list. It will take you to a page with a great number of options for finding users and viewing user lists in various categories.

To locate a user in a particular exchange, first select the exchange from the Users page. This will make the selected exchange the default for further searches and listings on the page.
